Food Poverty

Community Alliance is working in partnership with East Herts District Council to support people struggling with the cost of living crisis. We have funding from the Household Support Fund which has been used to support Foodbanks and Food Poverty initiatives across the District. Information about Food Support Grants can be obtained from Susan Lankester.

In addition, we are involved with setting up the Hertford Pantry at our Sele Hub which features food collected from local shops and supermarkets that would otherwise be disposed of before its sell-by date. If you are interested in helping with this community project, please contact Claudia Bird.
