Volunteering
Not only does Community Alliance support many charities and voluntary organisations in the Borough of Broxbourne and the District of East Hertfordshire, but we also offer a variety of interesting volunteering roles ourselves.
Why volunteer with Community Alliance?
Community Alliance is the essential link to empowering our community groups, building local partnerships and improving residents’ lives. We provide a diverse range of services to develop, enhance and empower voluntary and community groups to effectively serve their communities, including the running of our own projects like Job Smart, Heritage Broxbourne and the Community Car Scheme.
Volunteering is a great way of supporting these worthwhile causes. You will gain valuable skills, meet new people and make a noticeable difference in their lives.

Step 1: Explore volunteering opportunities below.
Step 2: Get in contact with our Volunteer Coordinator to express your interest or ask any questions regarding volunteering: sarahc@communtyalliancebeh.org.uk / 0300 123 1034. We endeavour to get back to you within five working days.

Step 4: We will contact you to have an informal conversation/meeting and arrange further steps (e.g., a DBS check, any documents required, etc.).
Step 5: When we have completed these four easy steps, you will receive an induction and any necessary documents and/or equipment and your Community Alliance volunteering journey can start. This process should take approximately two to four weeks depending on the volunteering role and checks required.
