Community Alliance members training offer

Community Alliance are excited to announce that we have teamed up with the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) to bring our valued Community Alliance members fully funded sector specific training*.

This training will enable you to up-skill, making you better equipped to run your organisation and serve your communities.

As members, you will be able to access high quality fully funded* on-line training from a wide range of training subjects, tailored to your organisational training needs.

Topics include:

  • Sources of funding for Charities and Social Enterprises
  • Developing a fundraising strategy

  • Introduction to public sector procurement and social value
  • Social business model canvas
  • Unlocking social investment
  • Introduction to social impact measurement

This training is funded by Google’s Global Datacentre Community Investment Programme.

Accessing the workshops is simple:

Step 1

To express your interest email training@communityalliancebeh.org.uk. Please include your name, contact details, telephone number and a short statement detailing how these workshops will help your organisation.

If you are just thinking of starting up a Social Enterprise, charity or a community group we also want to hear from you in the same way.

Step 2

You will receive a call from us to assess your training and learning needs.

Step 3

We will match you to the right workshops and issue you with a booking code.*

Step 4

You will get instructions from us on how to book onto the training offer which you can then book direct at a time convenient to you.

Please note

*After the training needs assessment and just before we issue you with a booking code, we will require a down payment. This down payment will cover our costs should you book onto a workshop but not attend, as SSE will charge us for no shows.
