Project Manager

(Job based at Big Local Broad Green office in East Croydon)

• Hours are negotiable between 3 days and 5 days a week (37hrs). The role will include some evening and weekend hours, (time off in lieu applies)
• £33,000 – £35,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
• 25 days per annum plus public and bank holidays (pro rata for part-time)
• Location: The BLBG Office base is 38 Keeley Rd, Croydon CR0 1TF
• Closing date: Midday, Tuesday, 5th March 2024
• Interview date: Friday, 12th March 2024
• Employed by Community Alliance Broxbourne and East Herts
• Fixed-term contract until the end of September 2025

Are you passionate about community and the difference volunteers and community participation can make? Are you an excellent communicator with community engagement, outreach and organisational skills?

Do you have experience in managing community hubs and working with residents’ led initiatives? Could you help Big Local Broad Green (BLBG) to deliver positive outcomes for the local community?

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, who is committed, enthusiastic, patient and friendly to join our team. This post will deliver, on behalf of the Partnership, the objectives of the BLBG Plan, creating a programme of events and activities. It will also create opportunities for BLBG to meet the needs identified by the BLBG local in order to sustain connectivity within the community.

The Project Manager will lead on resident participation, project legacy plans and raising awareness of Big Local Broad Green, signposting residents to other services where appropriate. You will work closely with the BLBG Partnership, volunteers, local residents and other agencies, to deliver the 2023-2025 Community Plan.
