What a brilliant Annual Meeting we had yesterday in celebration of the fantastic year we’ve had since our rebrand. We are very proud to have had a large booking of up to 90 delegates this year, all of whom were eager to celebrate the accomplishments we achieved since launching our four themes, and sat intently as we expressed our appreciation for some of our chosen impactful individuals, all in the presence of The High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, Liz Green and The Mayor of Broxbourne, Cllr Paul Seeby. We thank the High Sheriff and The Mayor for taking the time out of their busy schedule to attend.
It was emotional for us to present the Outstanding Individual Volunteer Award to Chris Atoshko, Fran Donaghy and Jackie Georgiou. The Outstanding Long-Service Volunteer Award to John Furnell and the Inspiring Volunteer-Led Organisation Award to Always Bee You CIO and Stargardt’s Connected. We express our heartfelt gratitude for the work that you do!
We also enjoyed a special moment in celebrating our own Chair, Jan Wing, as she stepped down from her rewarding role after a remarkable 10 years of leading the meetings of the trustee board and supporting our Chief Officer. We are grateful to still have Jan involved in our expanding organisation.
