Lowewood Museum are seeking a new Community Engagement Officer to build on its community work and connect people across the Borough of Broxbourne with their heritage.

The Post

We are seeking to appoint an energetic and experienced project officer with a track record of success to help deliver the Your Heritage, Your Museum project.

This is a part-time post and is being offered on a fixed term contract to 30 September 2025, although with the possibility of extension. It is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) and local partners through the Your Heritage – Your Museum project. Working closely with the Museum Project Manager you will have a pivotal role in implementing and delivering community outreach activity across the Borough that enables people to explore and celebrate their heritage. It is important to be aware that this role is part of a small team with limited call on IT and support services so the successful applicant must be confident in their ability to find answers and solutions independently. To help with our capacity, Lowewood Museum paid staff are employed by Community Alliance Broxbourne and East Herts on behalf of the Museum.
